Our Dive Boats

As with most things in Pemba, we were the first to use the new generation Mercury Optimax engines. These machines comply to the strictest State of California emission control regulation. Modern, efficient and environmentally friendly, they are simply the best. And they fit onto our super safe, seaworthy XS rigid inflatable boats. (RIBs). We operate a 10m XS and an 8.6m Tornado/XS fitted with Yamaha F100 four stroke engines. Again- complying to the strictest of eco-regulations. No one else in Pemba uses these engines, or makes this commitment to the environment.

We currently have three dive platforms with an option on one more. Two RIB's are expensive to operate and are not environmentally friendly for small groups. We also use a 7m Yamaha Skiff, powered by another brand new mercury 40Hp engine. We use this vessel for small groups, personal guided dives, or for NGO's that wish to charter this vessel for conservation work in the local area.

Having said all of this, we must add that boats do not end with engines, we have some of the most experienced boat handling crews to power you through the sea, take you to the dive site, pick you up, and bring you back again.
