Swahili Complete Diver Package.

Pemba is without doubt a centre of world class diving. The marine environment and the underwater landscape are rare in this ever changing world. But part of that rarity is found because of bottomless walls, strong currents and ever blue water. The monthly currents pull out the sediment and bring in the fish. Because of this Pemba is often pitched as an advanced diving location. At Swahili Divers we are professionals. We have found enough really calm sedate dive sites to train you to become an open water diver. Even after the course, we have a stock of very interesting and medium challenging sites. Sadly some of the potentially more challenging sites remain beyond the reach of the open water diver.

This saddens us. Dan Steuber and I wracked our brains on the boat today. We asked ourselves, how can we take a person, and train them to dive, and then give that person some experience and some fun, and of course the guided tour of Pemba ’s unique underwater world. We thought of backing the Advanced Open water course onto the open water, but then you are constantly under instruction, and no one likes being told what to do for ever!

Then it hit us. We came up with the perfect package for people who are seriously interested in leaning how to dive while having a great time. We came up with the Swahili Complete diver package. A package that uses the PADI system, our experience, our world class directing staff and of course Pemba . This package is aimed at avid snorkellers, people who have done a try dive or two, divers who were certified 20 years ago and have not done a dive since, but love it. People that have done a try dive in a pool and feel like a natural. It is also aimed at Marine biologists, researchers, assistants, conservation volunteers. People who want to get right into diving, right now, and keep going!

The Swahili Complete Diver Package consists of:

• The world renowned PADI open water course at our resort dive centre.

• Three days' recreational diving at Swahili Divers.

• The PADI Advanced Open Water Course

This features the following core dives:

• Deep

• Underwater navigation

The course also includes the following dives:

• Underwater naturalist

• Peak performance buoyancy

• Boat diving

• Photography (camera hire extra)

The package includes all dive equipment, and full board accommodation in a dorm bed or room as desired. It also includes all dive equipment, educational materials, certification paperwork (and cards from PADI) and tea and coffee.

In this way, you learn to dive properly and safely, build up 6 more dives experience and then take the Advanced open water course. At the end of the 10 Days you leave with 16 dives and serious amount of experience…. Now you are ready for your next diving adventure…..
