Where is the hotel located?
The hotel is in
the North of Pemba near Konde.  It is isolated and, therefore, a great place to relax!

Is it close to the water?
We are right on the coast a few seconds away from swimming and the dive boats.

Is there a beach?
Yes.  There is a small sand beach which migrates up and down the coast a hundred metres or so.  Sometimes it is directly in front of the resort, at other times you need to walk a few minutes to reach it.

Is there a restaurant to the Hotel
Yes, we serve three meals daily and numerous snacks and sandwiches throughout the day. The fare is based upon local availability and has a high degree of Prawns, crabs, line fish, lobster and tuna.  We only buy our fish from fishermen that use lines and not nets and we only buy sustainable sized fish.

Breakfast, lunch and dinner are served daily.
The food is inspired by African, European and Swahili recipes with generous portions which are both wholesome and delicious. Our Chef Ali is a Pemban local who, under the guidance of both Swahili Divers staff and guests, prepares unique and exciting quality meals.

What time does the restaurant open in the morning?
As this is a dive resort, the restaurant opens at
7 AM . Hot coffee, eggs, fruits, breads and jams are available from that time.

What time does the restaurant close?
It closes after the last guest has eaten, this is usually
9 to 10 PM. If you come back late, we’ll hold the food or make a new dish.

Are the rooms air-conditioned?
All rooms have ceiling fans.

Are there telephones in the rooms?
No, we believe that
Pemba is a tranquil place and should stay that way. We have a fax and phone facility in the office that can be used at any time there is a member of staff on duty. If you have a mobile phone,  we can arrange to buy a local sim card for you to send and receive text messages and  telephone calls.

Can I drink the water?
We recommend that you only drink the local mineral water that is available in the hotel 24 hours a day and at shops island wide.

Do you have TV ?
We have a  DVD player and projector which is used to show feature films, training films and to review customers' underwater videos and digital images.

How big are the rooms?
Our rooms are extremely spacious, containing large beds and high ceilings.

Is there a swimming pool?
Our pool is under construction, but the sea is only a few paces away!

What other activities are available, besides diving?
We offer eco tours, hiking, biking, cultural tours,
forest tours, bird-watching, deep sea fishing and photographic tours.
